What does payment status mean?

It is the payment history linked to your record: which payments were processed and, where shown, their details. It does not show your bank balance. If a payment appears on Samarth but not in your account, the issue is usually between the payment system and your bank.

Samarth payment status FAQs

How do I check Samarth payment status?

Find your record on the official tracking page, open the payment status view and choose the financial year.

What is a financial year here?

An Indian financial year runs from 1 April to 31 March. Choose the year in which the payment was due.

Payment shows on Samarth but not in my bank. Why?

Usually the account is inactive, KYC is pending, Aadhaar is not seeded, or the IFSC has changed. Visit your bank branch with your passbook.

Does this website show payment dates or amounts?

No. We publish dates or amounts only when confirmed by an official source, because they change.

Can a payment be credited to someone else's account?

Payments go to the account on your record. If the account on record is wrong, ask the office to correct it urgently.

A caller says my pension is stuck and needs my OTP. Is that real?

No. It is fraud. Never share an OTP or PIN. Hang up and report it on 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in.

Will I get missed payments later?

This depends on the scheme and the reason for the delay. Ask the office handling your record.

My payment stopped suddenly. What should I do?

Check your record status on the portal. If it has changed, ask the office why. Also check your bank account is active.
